Bridals with Brushfire Photography

Tyler and I had some extra money in our budget for the wedding. I thought it would be fun to do some more bridals, and I really wanted mountain pictures. I had been following Brushfire on Instagram for a while. I loved their photos. They edit their photographs with the perfect amount of contrast and light. The cool thing about Brushfire is that they photograph in both film and digital. I decided to email them to see if they were available my one week off from EFY. They were :) I was immediately impressed with them. When I told them I wanted photographs in the mountains, they had a list of places we could go. They ended up doing a hike in Big Cottonwood Canyon, and said that I would love to take photos there. I really did. Utah Valley described the location when they featured us:

"Is this Ferngully? Or Big Cottonwood Canyon? Because holy wow Utah is the best.
These images are magic from tip to toe. The colors are perfection. (We are seriously smitten with those pops of purple.) Her gown is divine. (Those sleeves! That skirt!) And the photography is peaceful, powerful, and entirely effervescent."
I couldn't say it any better.
Brittany and Mike are married and both majored in photography. It was so fun to watch them work together. Mike would go look around  at different spots and tell Brittany we should go there. Both made us feel so comfortable and you could tell they wanted to do their best work. They knew what they were doing, and the images reflect that. They also weren't afraid to try different locations, and knew where they wanted to photograph before we even arrived at the location. They were both professional and fun. I am in love with these photos. If you are looking for a photographer, use them. :) You won't regret a single thing. Here are some photos from our session:
