Dolby Elementary had a tradition for those in Kindergarten. Each year they took a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. My mom was going to be our Field Trip Mom and I was seriously so excited. I dreamt for days about the pumpkin patch and how I was going to be able to eat a Lunchable there. It is honestly one of my most vivid memories.
I remember the night before feeling like it was Christmas. However, the next day I woke up feeling so sick. I tried my best to pretend I wasn't, but throwing up in the car is hard to hide. I ended up staying home with my Dad, while Sydney (who was in Pre-K) and my mom went to the Pumpkin Patch. Sydney ate my Lunchable.

A year later, I was in Kindergarten again. I did not want to be there at all, but my mom and dad insisted it was for the best. The only thought that gave me happiness about the situation was that this year I would be able to go to the Pumpkin Patch. Again, I remember the days leading up to the Field Trip. My mom was going to be going, I was going to get a Lunchable, and Sydney would be there. Yet, the morning of the Field Trip I woke up puking. Seriously, what luck did I have??
I have always remembered these days. I lived 24 years without going to a Pumpkin Patch and last year, Tyler changed my life by bringing me to one. Today, we visited a new one with Sydney. The Pumpkin Patch still fills me with childhood happiness, and honestly, it is better than I ever imagined. Here are some pictures from our day:
